Genoa have opened talks with Lazio for Ecuadorian forward Felipe Caicedo.
As reported by Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio last night, the Rossoblu are looking to sign a new forward as the squad did little to impress in their loss to Inter on the weekend. As a result, they have identified Caicedo as a strong option to reinforce their attack.
Talks between the two clubs opened yesterday and Genoa president Enrico Preziosi has offered the 32-year-old Ecuadorian a two-year contract, but he will have to be aware of the keen competition from other interested clubs.
