Midfielder Sofian Kiyine has left Lazio and joined fellow Italian side Venezia.
As reported by Italian media outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi earlier today, the former Salernitana player was not part of previous coach Simone Inzaghi’s plans and was waiting for a spot in the Biancocelesti squad, but one wasn’t appearing and with the Venetian’s interest he has decided to leave.
Venezia have been looking for a new midfielder for several weeks but decided to finally pull the trigger and sign the 23-year-old Moroccan. The full details of the deal are currently unknown but are likely to be revealed soon.

Last season, Kiyine struggled for consistent playing time whilst on loan with Salernitana, making only 13 Serie B appearances across the season, for a total of 683 minutes. He provided one assist in that time, but failed to fully shine in the Campania-based squad, and wouldn’t get a chance to with Lazio.
