Lazio will have to pay Sevilla just under €4 million following the sale of Joaquin Correa to Inter.

As reported by Italian newspaper Il Messaggero (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the 27-year-old Argentinian forward’s move to the Nerazzurri has finally solved the Biancocelesti’s biggest question of the transfer window, and now the club need to resolve all related business.

When Sevilla sold Correa to Lazio in 2018, they included a 15% of a future resale clause in the deal. Due to this, the Roman club will have to pay the Spanish side just under €4 million as soon as the player’s permanent signing with Inter is activated next year.

There is still a chance that the parties will reach a further agreement, although this seems a little unlikely at his stage.

Correa has joined Inter on a loan deal with an obligation to buy attached, in a deal worth around €31 million in total. The Milanese club will activate the clause next summer.
