Lazio Looking to Send Kamenovic Away on Loan Abroad to Belgium or Netherlands

Lazio are planning to send Serbian defender Dimitrije Kamenovic out on loan abroad.

As reported by Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the 21-year-old Serbian defender was not included in the Serie A squad registration list due to his non-EU status, which would block the signing of Eintracht Frankfurt winger Filip Kostic.

The Biancocelesti have already agreed to personal terms with the Serbian winger and now are working to finalise the deal with Eintracht Frankfurt.

This has left Kamenovic on the sidelines at Lazio. So, the club are looking to send him abroad on loan, either to a club in Belgium like Genk or Standard Liege, or a team in the Netherlands.

The 21-year-old Kamenovic did not impress coach Maurizio Sarri at the pre-season training camp in Auronzo di Cadore and so needs to continue his development if he wants to earn a spot in the Biancocelesti squad.
