Lazio forward Felipe Caicedo will undergo his medicals this afternoon before signing with Genoa.
As reported by Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla earlier today, the 32-year-old Ecuadorian forward is set to leave the Roman club to go on a new adventure in Liguria, signing for Davide Ballardini’s squad.
Caicedo has already arrived in the city of Genoa, landing at the Cristoforo Colombo airport on a private flight from Rome.
In his time with the Biancocelesti, the Ecuadorian forward made 139 appearances across all competitions, scoring 33 goals and providing 15 assists in that time.
Caicedo became a Lazio fan favourite due to scoring in the dying minutes of matches semi-regularly, often saving points or securing a win for the Biancocelesti.
