Spezia have taken the early lead against Lazio through Daniele Verde.
Off of a counter-attack, Emmanuel Gyasi drove forward. With the Biancocelesti’s backline disrupted and unorganized, the Ghanaian took full advantage, beating both Francesco Acerbi and Patric, and letting his shot go.
While Pepe Reina made the initial stop, the rebound fell right to Verde and he converted.
This is a fantastic start for Thiago Motta’s side, while Maurizio Sarri’s team will be disappointed; especially after starting the same way last week against Empoli.
