Lazio Star Immobile’s Hat-Trick vs Spezia Is His Second Serie A First Half Hat-Trick

Lazio star Ciro Immobile’s hat-trick against Spezia yesterday was his second first-half Serie A hattrick.

As reported by Italian stats provider OptaPaolo on Twitter yesterday, the 31-year-old Italian striker netted three goals in the first half of the 6-1 win against Spezia yesterday, despite missing a penalty just before half-time.

The former Torino and Genoa man has gotten off to a flying start to the season, having scored four goals in the first two games, netting one against Empoli last weekend.

Contracted to Lazio until 2025, the 31-year-old Immobile is already the club’s all-time top scorer and he seems set to raise the record massively under new coach Maurizio Sarri, who was very impressed with the Italian’s performance.

The striker was also a core part of coach Roberto Mancini’s Italy squad that won Euro 2020 earlier this summer.
