Lazio Raise Their Offer to Eintracht Frankfurt for Winger Kostic, 72 Hours Remain

Lazio have raised their offer for Eintracht Frankfurt winger Filip Kostic as they work to close the deal before the transfer window closes.

As reported by Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla on Twitter last night, there are only 72 hours left in the summer transfer window and so the Roman club are working hard to try and finals a deal for the 28-year-old Serbian winger.

Lazio’s latest offer to Eintracht Frankfurt is €13-14 million plus €2-3 million in add-ons. Talks are still ongoing and the Roman club are pushing, wanting to provide coach Maurizio Sarri with a winger that’ll suit his system well.

Kostic is incredibly keen on the move and even missed Friday’s training session as he waited for the deal’s completion, having reached an agreement with Lazio a few weeks ago.

Lazio’s alternative to Kostic is Hellas Verona talisman Mattia Zaccagni, who would cost around €10 million, but the Serbian winger is the top target still.
