Lazio are interested in signing free agent Franck Ribery should the talks for Eintracht Frankfurt’s Filip Kostic collapse.
As reported by Italian media outlet TuttoMercatoWeb earlier today, the Biancocelesti are close to signing the 38-year-old Frenchman, who most recently spent two years with fellow Italian side Fiorentina.
The former Bayern Munich man is still without a team and so he could be an emergency option to provide coach Maurizio Sarri with a new winger.

Signing Ribery on a free transfer would also still allow Lazio to make a deal for Hellas Verona midfielder Mattia Zaccagni, who is their top alternative to Kostic.

The 38-year-old Ribery made 29 Serie A appearances last season for Fiorentina, for a total of 2170 minutes. In that time, he scored two goals and provided seven assists, proving that he can still play regularly despite his older age.
The Frenchman would provide Sarri with an experienced winger who can also be a mentor for youngsters Raul Moro and Luka Romero.
