Lazio Carried Out Talks for Both Zaccagni & Kostic Yesterday, Decisive Day Today

Lazio carried out two parallel transfer negotiations yesterday for both Mattia Zaccagni and Filip Kostic.

As reported by Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, sporting director Igli Tare was in talks with German side Eintracht Frankfurt yesterday, trying to close out the deal for the 28-year-old Serbian winger.

Lazio’s latest offer is still below Eintracht Frankfurt’s requests and so talks are at a tough spot, with the Biancocelesti hoping that Kostic’s desire to join the club will make the difference.

The Biancocelesti president has essentially closed out a deal with the Gialloblu for the Italian midfielder, on the basis of €8 million plus €2 million in add-ons. They are also considering including André Anderson in the deal. Zaccagni would earn over €1 million net per season.

Today will be frantic for Lazio, as the club want to provide coach Maurizio Sarri with a new attacker.
