Lazio have reached an agreement with Hellas Verona for midfielder Mattia Zaccagni.
As reported by Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio last night, the Biancocelesti pushed to sign the 26-year-old Italian midfielder following the collapse of talks for Eintracht Frankfurt winger Filip Kostic.
The agreement with the Gialloblu for Zaccagni was found on the basis of €10 million – €8 million initial fee with €2 million in add-ons.

Whilst Lazio have agreed to a deal with Hellas Verona, they still need to agree to personal terms with Zaccagni. It seems as if the contract will be a four-year deal worth around €1.5 million net per season (via Il Messaggero).

The parties are working hard to find a deal today, with the player interested in the move. The transfer window closes tonight and so Lazio will have to work fast if they want to secure their man.
The 26-year-old Zaccagni joined Hellas Verona in 2014 from Bellaria Igea. In his seven years with the club, the Italian midfielder has made 146 appearances, scored 15 goals and provided 22 assists, being a talismanic figure in the squad.
