Lazio full-back Manuel Lazzari will miss the next match against AC Milan due to injury, with Luiz Felipe also in doubt.

As reported by Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the 27-year-old Italian full back’s medical tests at the Paideia Clinic yesterday revealed that he has suffered a muscular elongation.

Barring a miracle, Lazzari will be forced to miss the match against the Rossoneri after the International break.

Lazzari is expected to be out for a couple of weeks and will begin his recovery process now. Lazio will carry out further tests of the Italian down the line.

Luiz Felipe is also at risk of missing the match against AC Milan; the 24-year-old Brazilian defender picked up a calf muscle strain on Thursday last week and is being monitored closely.

The Biancocelesti hope that Luiz Felipe will be available for the match, having missed the 6-1 win over Spezia in order to avoid exacerbating his injury.
