Official: Mattia Zaccagni Has Signed for Lazio on a Four-Year Contract

Lazio have officially signed attacking midfielder Mattia Zaccagni from Hellas Verona on a four-year contract.

As seen on Lega Serie A’s website earlier this evening, the Biancocelesti have submitted the 26-year-old Italian’s contract to the league for registration, finally completing the deal for the player.

The registration is listed on the Lega Serie A website as ‘temporary’ because the player has joined the Roman club on a loan deal with an obligation to buy clause attached. In order to facilitate this, he has renewed his contract with Hellas Verona until 2023.

The 26-year-old Zaccagni has already started this season well, having scored a brace in the opening game against Sassuolo, and Lazio will be hoping that he continues this season in good form.

The player will be an exciting addition to coach Maurizio Sarri’s squad, being a creative and electric threat in the final third, as well as playing a key role in the buildup play.
