Chelsea midfielder Jorginho praised his former coach Maurizio Sarri and his start at Lazio.
Speaking to gathered reporters in a press conference from the Azzurri training camp (via LazioNews24) yesterday, the 29-year-old Italian-Brazilian spoke highly of the 62-year-old Italian coach and how well he has started with the Biancocelesti.
I was certainly not surprised by Sarri’s start at Lazio, with that 6-1 win over Spezia.
I was sure he would do well. I think Immobile will have a lot of fun this year.

Lazio have gotten off to a flying start, beating Empoli 3-1 in the opening game before thrashing Spezia 6-1 in their second match.
The Biancocelesti’s third game of the season is against AC Milan on 12th September, after the international break.

The 62-year-old Italian coach is still working to imprint his ideas and tactical system on the squad but has still managed to pick up an important six points in the early stages of the season.
Sarri will now be able to rely on new signings Mattia Zaccagni and Toma Basic as well, with his squad full of exciting and creative players now.
Jorginho previously played under Sarri at both Napoli and Chelsea, being a key part of his team.
