Official: Lazio Defender Tiago Casasola Has Joined Frosinone on Loan

Lazio right back Tiago Casasola has officially joined Serie B side Frosinone on loan.

As announced in an official statement last night, the 26-year-old Argentinian right-back has joined the Serie B side on a season-long loan deal, which doesn’t seem to include a buy option.

The 26-year-old Casasola, who is contracted to Lazio until 2023, joined the Roman club from Salernitana in 2019. He was immediately loaned back to the Campania-based side and also spent time on loan with Cosenza.

Casasola has never made a first-team appearance for Lazio and is unlikely to be involved in coach Maurizio Sarri’s project in Rome.

The Argentinian full-back will be hoping to impress during his time on loan in Frosinone in order to convince other clubs of his qualities.

Last campaign, Casasola made 35 Serie B appearances last season whilst on loan with Salernitana, for a total of 3058 minutes. In that time, he scored three goals and provided four assists.
