Lazio are unsure what to do with young Serbian defender Dimitrije Kamenovic and could possibly transfer him abroad.

As reported by Italian media outlet LazioNews24 earlier today, the 21-year-old Serbian defender was not registered by the Biancocelesti in the league as they were waiting to sign Eintracht Frankfurt winger Filip Kostic.

The Serbian winger did not arrive and so now Kamenovic’s future is a little unclear, as he could be registered again.

However, Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri is not convinced by the 21-year-old Serbian defender as either a left-back or a centre-back, and so doesn’t want the player in his squad.

Although the Serie A transfer window has closed, Lazio may decide to transfer Kamenovic to a club abroad, with the windows still open in countries such as Turkey, Ukraine and Serbia.

Developments are expected soon, as Lazio will surely have to find a solution for the player in the coming weeks.
