Ecuadorian forward Felipe Caicedo has officially transferred from Lazio to Genoa.

As announced in an official statement last night, the 32-year-old Ecuadorian forward has joined the Rossoblu on a three-year contract, with the Ligurian club paying €2 million for the player.

Caicedo joined the Biancocelesti in 2017 from La Liga side Espanyol and became a fan favourite in Rome, mostly due to his decisive last-minute goals.

The 32-year-old Caicedo made 139 appearances for Lazio in his four years with the club, scoring 33 goals and providing 15 assists in that time.

The Ecuadorian forward helped the club win a Coppa Italia and two Supercoppa Italiana titles.

Caicedo was often relegated to the bench under previous coach Simone Inzaghi but still managed to make an impact despite not often finding himself in the starting XI.

The former Espanyol man will be hoping for more consistent playing time and starts in Genoa under coach Davide Ballardini.
