Official: Felipe Caicedo Has Transferred From Lazio to Genoa

Ecuadorian forward Felipe Caicedo has officially transferred from Lazio to Genoa.

As announced in an official statement last night, the 32-year-old Ecuadorian forward has joined the Rossoblu on a three-year contract, with the Ligurian club paying €2 million for the player.

Caicedo joined the Biancocelesti in 2017 from La Liga side Espanyol and became a fan favourite in Rome, mostly due to his decisive last-minute goals.

Caicedo was often relegated to the bench under previous coach Simone Inzaghi but still managed to make an impact despite not often finding himself in the starting XI.

The former Espanyol man will be hoping for more consistent playing time and starts in Genoa under coach Davide Ballardini.
