Lazio Announce 23-Man Squad for 2021/22 Serie A Season: Vavro Included

Lazio have announced the final 23-man squad for the 2021/22 Serie A season.

As announced in an official statement last night, the final Biancocelesti squad for this season has been revealed, following the conclusion of the summer transfer window.

The list includes new signing Mattia Zaccagni, who came from Hellas Verona, and Denis Vavro, who was initially ruled out by coach Maurizio Sarri.

Below is the full list of the Lazio squad:

  • Goalkeepers: Marius Adamonis, Pepe Reina, Thomas Strakosha;
  • Defenders: Francesco Acerbi, Elseid Hysaj, Manuel Lazzari, Luiz Felipe, Adam Marusic, Patric, Stefan Radu, Denis Vavro;
  • Midfielders: Jean-Daniel Akpa Akpro, Toma Basic, Danilo Cataldi, Gonzalo Escalante, Lucas Leiva, Luis Alberto, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic;
  • Attackers: Felipe Anderson, Ciro Immobile, Vedat Muriqi, Pedro, Mattia Zaccagni.

Sarri’s Lazio squad have started the season incredibly well, with a strong 3-1 win over Empoli on the opening day before thrashing Thiago Motta’s Spezia 6-1 before the international break.

The Roman club’s next game is against AC Milan on 12th September.
