Lazio Duo Luiz Felipe & Strakosha Will Both Be Free Agents Next Year

Lazio duo Luiz Felipe and Thomas Strakosha’s both will be free agents next year.

As highlighted by Italian media outlet Sky Sports Italia earlier this week, the pair have still not renewed their contracts with the Biancocelesti yet, and so will be available to leave the club on a free transfer upon the conclusion of the 2021/22 season.

The 24-year-old Luiz Felipe seems set to renew his deal with Lazio, being happy with the Roman club and finding himself as a key part of coach Maurizio Sarri’s squad.

The 26-year-old Strakosha, on the other hand, is much less likely to renew his deal with Lazio. The Albanian shot-stopper has lost his starting spot in the squad to Spanish veteran Pepe Reina, which doesn’t seem set to change under coach Maurizio Sarri.

The Biancocelesti need to work soon if they want to tie down Luiz Felipe to a new deal without the fear of him leaving on a free transfer.
