Lazio Winger Pedro Is Already Focused on the Derby Against Roma

Lazio winger Pedro is already looking ahead to the Derby della Capitale against Roma later this month.

As reported by Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the 34-year-old Spanish winger has had a convincing start to the season, having made an assist in the win over Spezia, and will continue to be the starter under coach Maurizio Sarri.

With Mattia Zaccagni arriving instead of Filip Kostic, Pedro is still the locked-on starter for the time-being.

The former Chelsea man is expected to start against AC Milan after the international break, but he is already focusing on the derby against Roma on 26th September.

Pedro scored his last goal for Roma in last season’s derby against Lazio and he is dreaming of redemption in the most important match of the season later this month.

Coach Sarri was incredibly keen to sign the 34-year-old Pedro once he became available, with the pair knowing each other from their time together at Chelsea.
