As reported by online media outlet WhoScored on Twitter on Friday, the 26-year-old Italian midfielder received an average rating of 8.46 for the month of August, owing to his strong performances for Hellas Verona against Sassuolo and Inter, despite the fact that the Gialloblu lost both matches.
The 28-year-old Brazilian winger was the third highest-rated Serie A player for August, with his impressive work in the wins against Empoli and Spezia not going unnoticed, having scored a goal and provided an assist already. He received an average rating of 8.29, just behind second place.
