Lazio’s Net Loss This Summer Was Over €90m Lower Than Rivals Roma

Lazio’s net loss for the summer transfer window was only €5.2 million, over €90 million lower than rivals Roma.

As collected by Serie A fan AC Maldini on Twitter earlier this week, the Biancocelesti spent €12.6 million in the recent transfer window, owing to arrivals like Felipe Anderson, Toma Basic, and Mattia Zaccagni.

The Roman club’s income in the summer transfer window was €7.4 million, with a large chunk of that coming from the deal that saw Argentinian forward Joaquin Correa join Inter. A larger amount will arrive next summer when the loan deal in the Lombard capital is made permanent.

Considering that they spent €36 million, their total net gain this summer was €161.1 million.
