CONI will decide tomorrow if Lazio president Claudio Lotito will be punished for his role in the inconsistent Covid-19 test results case.
As reported by Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the Italian National Olympic Committee board will decide if Lotito should receive a 12-month ban relating to the inconsistent Covid-19 test results case from last year.
Lazio are accused of failing to communicate positive Covid-19 cases to the local health authorities, of failing to isolate positive subjects, and using a player who tested positive in previous tests.

If CONI confirms Lotito’s 12-month ban then he’ll be removed from his role as federal councilor, and this would also create doubts about his possible re-election in 2025.
