Sarri Considering Using Both Muriqi & Immobile Against AC Milan This Weekend

Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri is debating using both Ciro Immobile and Vedat Muriqi against AC Milan this weekend.

As reported by Italian newspaper Tuttosport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the 62-year-old Italian coach is thinking about using two strikers against the Rossoneri, either from the start or during the game.

The former Chelsea and Juventus coach has taken note of the former Fenerbahce striker’s great scoring record with the Kosovan national team, having scored two goals in the last two games and being the highest scorer in his national team’s history with 17 goals.

Muriqi was bought last summer for around €20 million and has been the second most expensive signing of the Claudio Lotito era at Lazio. The player is dreaming of redemption following a disappointing first season in Rome, where he only scored two goals.

Sarri will continue to consider the idea as the week progresses, but there is a chance that both Immobile and Muriqi could start against AC Milan this weekend.
