Lazio midfielder Luis Alberto is set to be the star of the show in the upcoming match against AC Milan, following their interest in him this summer.

The idea faded when Lazio president Claudio Lotito’s valuation of the player was confirmed, despite the fact that the Spanish midfielder is not one of his favourite players.

Being benched in the season opener against Empoli is proof of that, but in the following match against Spezia, his one goal and three assists have dispelled any of Sarri’s doubts.
