Sampdoria Goalkeeper Audero on Sarri’s Lazio: “There Is So Much Quality”

Sampdoria goalkeeper Emil Audero highlighted the quality available to Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri this season.

Speaking in an interview with Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the 24-year-old Italian goalkeeper discussed the race for a Champions League spot this season and the various coaches trying to guide their teams there.

Allegri, Sarri, Spalletti and Mourinho are four very strong coaches, all in a challenging situation and where nothing is taken for granted. Juve need to get back to winning ways.

Sarri is coming from a very important cycle and I am curious to see him in a team where there is so much quality, while Roma expects Mourinho to return to the Champions League.

Decisive Test Today for Lazzari as He Pushes to Feature in Lazio vs AC Milan

Coach Maurizio Sarri has gotten off to a strong start with Lazio this season, having won the opening two games against Empoli 3-1 and Spezia 6-1.

The Biancocelesti’s next game is their toughest challenge so far, against AC Milan on Sunday evening. The Rossoneri have also won both of their two opening matches, and so it’ll be an important early test as both teams work to take a grip of the top four.
