Decisive Test Today for Manuel Lazzari as He Pushes to Feature in Lazio vs AC Milan

Today is a decisive day for Lazio full-back Manuel Lazzari, as he pushes to be fit in time to face AC Milan.

As reported by Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the 27-year-old Italian full-back’s injury against Spezia was suffered almost two weeks ago now, and the player is keen to return to the pitch as soon as possible.

The former SPAL man has been back in squad training for the last two days and today could be key in determining if he is fit enough or not to face the Rossoneri.

If Lazzari’s condition today is confirmed in training, then he’s likely to start the match on the bench for Lazio, with Adam Marusic starting in his place.

There is a chance, however, that coach Maurizio Sarri will decide to bet on the 27-year-old Italian right back anyway.
