Lazio Coach Maurizio Sarri Working on a Plan to Contain AC Milan’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri is establishing a plan to contain AC Milan veteran Zlatan Ibrahimovic in Sunday’s match.

As reported by Italian newspaper Il Messaggero (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the 39-year-old Swedish forward is not at all fitness but is still one of the more decisive players in the Rossoneri squad, always managing to find the back of the net.

Ibrahimovic has scored seven goals in 14 matches against Lazio across his career and will be hoping to add to that tally this weekend.

Sarri’s plan to contain the Swedish veteran is to focus on ball possession and playing with quick touches. The 62-year-old Italian coach doesn’t want his squad to play with any fear, even if their opponent is Ibrahimovic.
