Lazio Star Immobile on Theft From Guerini’s Grave: “Without a Shred of Humanity”

Lazio striker Ciro Immobile has expressed his disgust at the news that personal items were stolen from Daniel Guerini’s grave.

As seen on Immobile’s Instagram page (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the 31-year-old Italian forward was disgusted after hearing from his mother Michela that personal items and memorabilia from his career were stolen from his grave last night.

The 19-year-old Guerini tragically passed away earlier this year following a car crash in Rome. It was later confirmed that the car he was travelling in was not speeding at the time of the accident.

Immobile commented on the situation, saying:

Guero forgive them, they don’t know what they’re doing.

Disconcerting, without a shred of humanity. What a disgrace.

Many fans and those in the Lazio environment have expressed their unhappiness at the situation, unsurprising given the lack of morality required to steal personal items from the grave of a teenager.

There is a shred of hope that these comments and public statements will help assist in the return of some of the items.
