Lazio Women Coach Carolina Morace: “We Must Not Have Any Excuses”

Lazio Women coach Carolina Morace looked ahead to the Biancocelesti’s league clash against AC Milan Women tomorrow.

As seen in a post on Morace’s Instagram page earlier today, the Roman club will take on the Rossoneri tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 pm local time in Milan, but the game will be played behind closed doors without fans.

Below is Morace’s comments ahead of the match:

Two teams with different goals and style of play. It’s a shame to play behind closed doors but we must not have any excuses.

Concentration on what we must and must not do. Hiding our weaknesses and focusing on our qualities.

Individual duels? They have to be won.

Lazio Women have gotten off to a disappointing start to their Serie A Femminile season, losing their first two games against Sampdoria Women and Inter Women.

Unfortunately for Morace and her squad, the Rossoneri are one of the toughest opponents in the league, having finished as runners-up last campaign, 15 points behind winners Juventus Women.

Even a point would be valuable for Lazio Women as they look to finally kick start their season.

Last campaign in Serie B Women, Morace did a wonderful job, not losing a single game after her appointment to guide the squad up to the top flight for the first time in years.
