Lazio defender Stefan Radu is in the top 10 list of active players with the most Serie A appearances.
As highlighted by Lega Serie A on Twitter yesterday, the 34-year-old Romanian defender has made 338 league appearances for the Biancocelesti since signing for the club in 2008, putting him ninth in the list, ahead of Atalanta’s Josip Ilicic.

Number one on the list is Inter goalkeeper Samir Handanovic, who has made 517 appearances in Serie A throughout his career.

Radu’s contract expires with Lazio next year in 2022 but there is a chance that he could receive another renewal in the future, should he impress coach Maurizio Sarri this season.
