Lazio Primavera Come From Behind to Beat Perugia 2-1 in Season Opener

Lazio Primavera got off to a winning start in their Primavera 2 campaign, beating Perugia 2-1.

Coach Alessandro Calori’s side came from behind to secure the three points in yesterday’s match, setting the team off on a good start following their relegation from the Primavera 1 championship last season.

It was a fairly even first half, with Seghetti giving Perugia the lead after only 16 minutes. Lazio did not lose their faith, however, and continued playing with enthusiasm and intensity.

In the second half, Castigliani scored the equaliser in the 66th minute, before Mancino put the Biancocelesti ahead only three minutes later in the 69th minute.

The game was an important test of character for the Lazio Primavera squad, who will be looking to quickly return to the Primavera 1 division.
