Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri has suffered only two defeats to AC Milan throughout his career.
As reported by Italian newspaper Tuttosport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, today’s match against the Rossoneri will be the 62-year-old Italian coach’s 15th time facing the Milanese club, and he has every intention of improving on his already positive record.
Sarri has won six times and drawn six times against AC Milan, losing only twice. The first loss came in January 2007, when his Arezzo side lost 2-0 to the Rossoneri in the Coppa Italia quarter-finals. The other loss came in July 2020, when his Juventus side lost 4-2.
Sarri also has a positive record against AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli. In the 13 previous meetings, Sarri has six wins, four draws and three defeats.
