Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri is considering some possible tactical changes following the 2-0 loss to AC Milan on Sunday.
As reported by Italian radio broadcaster Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today, the 62-year-old Italian coach was bitterly disappointed with the squad’s performance in their defeat to the Rossoneri on the weekend, not impressed with the playing style of his team.
The question bothering Sarri now is whether the five attacking players – Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Luis Alberto, the two wingers and Ciro Immobile – can co-exist at the same time without causing too much imbalance on the pitch.

In the season opener against Empoli, Sarri was more cautious, playing Jean-Daniel Akpa Akpro in place of the Spanish midfielder, but it’s hard to imagine a Lazio squad with Luis Alberto present.

One possibility is that the 62-year-old Italian coach could change the formation from a 4-3-3 to a 4-3-1-2, inserting Toma Basic in midfield in place of one of the wingers.
For the moment, Sarri will continue with his tried-and-tested 4-3-3, asking the players to work harder in the defensive phase.
