Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic was unable to celebrate his 250th appearance with the club, which came on the 2-0 loss to AC Milan on Sunday.
As seen in a post on Milinkovic-Savic’s Instagram page yesterday, the 26-year-old Serbian midfielder did not immediately make a statement following the 2-0 defeat to the Rossoneri, instead waiting an extra day in order to calm down a little.
Below is the Serbian midfielder’s statement as seen on his Instagram page:
Sunday was 250 games with Lazio. I didn’t write anything because I’m angry about the result. But then I remembered what that eagle on my chest and this jersey means to me.
So: hard work and thank you for always supporting us! Forward together, your Sergeant.
