Australian-Italian defender Isabella Foletta has officially signed for Lazio Women.
As announced in an official statement earlier today, the 21-year-old defender has signed a contract with the Biancocelesti, becoming available to coach Carolina Morace, who was looking for a new defender to shore up the backline.

A new reinforcement for Lazio Women. Starting from today, Carolina Morace will be able to use Isabella Foletta.
Born in Australia, she grew up with Perth Glory and Canberra United. As of today Isabella Foletta is a new player for Lazio Women.
The 21-year-old Foletta most recently made seven appearances in the Australian W-League with Canberra United, having played 510 minutes in total.
Prior to that, she played in the W-League for two years with Perth Glory, having made five appearances across two years.
Lazio Women have had a disastrous start to the season and currently sit second bottom in the Serie A Femminile table. Morace’s side have lost all three of their opening games against AC Milan 8-1, Inter 1-0 and Sampdoria 2-1.
The Biancocelesti’s next game of the season is against Fiorentina on Sunday 26th September at 12:30 pm local time.
