Lazio defender Stefan Radu was tested as a left-back in yesterday’s training session in Formello.
As reported by Italian media outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi earlier today, the 34-year-old Romanian centre-back was used as a left-back in yesterday’s training exercises, with coach Maurizio Sarri wanting to rest Elseid Hysaj.
It also seems as if midfielders Toma Basic and Mattia Zaccagni will receive their first Lazio start against Galatasaray tomorrow evening, following their debuts against AC Milan on the weekend.

Sarri is considering starting forward Vedat Muriqi as well, allowing Ciro Immobile to rest, in order to take advantage of the Kosovan forward’s history of succeeding in Turkey.

Danilo Cataldi and Gonzalo Escalante were both tested in the midfield and defender Patric has also asked for some more playing time. It is also still unclear whether Sarri will start Adam Marusic or Manuel Lazzari against the Turkish side.
The Lazio coach has every player available to him, with nobody currently suffering from any injuries.
