Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri has only ever lost to Cagliari twice so far in his career.
As collected by stats portal Transfermarkt, the 62-year-old Italian coach has been involved in eight matches against the Rossoblu since his arrival in Serie A, with three different clubs; Empoli, Napoli, and Juventus.
Out of these eight games, Sarri has won five times, drawn once, and lost twice. The draw came in the 2014/15 season with Empoli, when the match ended 1-1.

Many of Sarri’s wins against the Sardinian side have been high-scoring games, like Napoli 5-0 Cagliari in 2016, Napoli 5-0 Cagliari in 2018, and Juventus 4-0 Cagliari in 2020.
The Lazio coach is hoping that his squad bounces back following the painful consecutive losses to AC Milan and Galatasaray.
