Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri has not lost a match against Cagliari coach Walter Mazzarri so far in his career.
As collected by stats portal Transfermarkt, the 62-year-old Italian coach has faced off against Mazzarri in two games throughout his career, both Serie A matches.
Sarri Highlights Need for Patience Ahead of Lazio vs Cagliari, “We Need Time”
The first time the two Italian coaches met was in the 2017/18 season when Sarri was in charge of Napoli and Mazzarri in charge of Torino.
The match ended 2-2, with the momentum of the game shifting back and forth throughout. In that game, Napoli lined up in Sarri’s traditional 4-3-3 whilst Mazzarri used a 3-5-2 formation.
