Pedro & Milinkovic-Savic Expected to Start for Lazio vs Cagliari Tomorrow

Pedro and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic are expected to start in Lazio’s upcoming Serie A match against Cagliari.

As reported by Italian radio broadcaster Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today, the pair did not start in Thursday’s UEFA Europa League opener against Galatasaray, both coming off the bench in the 1-0 loss to the Turkish side.

However, coach Maurizio Sarri is planning to start them both against Cagliari tomorrow, wanting to secure a key three points following back-to-back defeats.

Milinkovic-Savic started off very well in Lazio’s wins against Empoli and Spezia but was more underwhelming against AC Milan last weekend.

Against Cagliari in the past, the Serbian midfielder has scored twice at the Stadio Olimpico, and he will try to repeat this tomorrow.

For now, it is still unclear who will join him in the midfield trio. The same goes for Pedro, who will replace either Felipe Anderson or Mattia Zaccagni in the starting eleven.

Sarri has still not made up his mind yet, but things will be clearer soon.
