Lazio Close June 2021 Financial Statements With Net Loss of €24.2m

Lazio closed their June 2021 financial statements with a net loss of €24.2 million, a significant increase compared to last year.

As announced in a statement (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier this week, the Biancocelesti’s financial statements for June 2021 saw them close with a net loss of €24.2 million, a noticeable rise compared to the €15.8 million net losses reported in June 2020.

The value of the incoming figures stood at €164.74 million, an increase of €60.43 million compared to the previous season.

The total costs also rose, standing at €196.4 million, which is an increase of €59.35 million compared to June 2020.

Net financial debt amounted to €25.31 million with an improvement of €24.48 million compared to last year.

The Covid-19 pandemic heavily affected the finances of all Italian football clubs and Lazio have done well to minimize the amount of losses suffered. 

The re-opening of the stadiums this season will help to alleviate the financial issues a little, as clubs can begin getting ticket money again.
