Ciro Immobile Wants to Be Lazio’s Leading Man in Derby vs Roma

Lazio striker Ciro Immobile is looking to be a true leader on the pitch for the squad against Roma today.

As reported by Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the 31-year-old Italian striker has played 11 Derby della Capitale’s against the Giallorossi throughout his career, winning three, drawing three, and losing five.

He has scored seven goals against Roma throughout his career, six of which came with the Biancocelesti.

If Immobile scores one more goal for Lazio against Roma then he’ll match club legend Silvio Piola’s record against the Giallorossi.

The Italian striker is also only three goals by Piola’s all-time goal-scoring record with the club as well, something he is expected to break this season.
