English referee Craig Pawson will oversee Lazio’s Europa League match against Lokomotiv Moscow this week.
As announced on Lazio’s official site earlier today, the 42-year-old Sheffield-born referee will lead the officiating team in Thursday’s Europa League clash, the Biancocelesti’s second group game of their campaign.

The 42-year-old Pawson has never officiated a match involving Lazio but has been the referee in five different matches involving Serie A teams.
Pawson oversaw two draws involving AC Milan, Roma’s draw against Wolfsburger, in the 2019/20 season Napoli’s win over Real Sociedad last season and Sassuolo’s draw with Rapid Vienna in the 2016/17 season.
Lazio will be looking for an important three points against Lokomotiv Moscow at the Stadio Olimpico on Thursday, after losing their opening game against Galatasaray 1-0.
