Lazio midfielder Luis Alberto has again been snubbed by Spain coach Luis Enrique, still not receiving a call up to the national team.
As seen in a post on the Spanish FA’s Instagram page yesterday, the 29-year-old Spanish midfielder has been one of the top stars in the Biancocelesti squad for some time now, but still has not managed to shine for his national team.

Luis Alberto has only ever made one appearance for Spain, 16 minutes in a friendly against Costa Rica back in November 2017.
The last time he was called up for the national team was in October 2019, but he failed to get brought onto the pitch.

Luis Alberto has had a slow start to the season under Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri, scoring one goal and providing three assists in the opening six games of the season.
The 29-year-old Spaniard is still working on adapting to the 62-year-old Italian coach’s tactical system, but is still a core part of the project.
