Lazio Women coach Carolina Morace is close to be dismissed after the poor start, with the next match against Sassuolo Femminile crucial.

As reported by Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24) yesterday, the Biancocelesti have started the Serie A Femminile incredibly poorly, earning zero points in the first four matches.

Lazio Women Thrashed by Fiorentina Femminile 6-1, Remain Pointless in Serie A

Two resounding defeats against AC Milan Women 8-1 and Fiorentina Femminile 6-1 are emblematic of the team’s poor start to the season, and now they sit bottom of the table with a goal difference of -14.

The position of head coach Morace is now handing in the balance and the next match against Sassuolo Femminile tomorrow afternoon may be her last chance to salvage her job as Lazio Women coach.

Lazio Women Coach Morace: “You Either Run Away or You Take Responsibility”

Unfortunately for Morace, Sassuolo Femminile currently sit second in the Serie A Femminile season after four games, tied on points with Juventus after winning all of their games so far.

The Neroverdi have scored 10 goals and conceded only one, and so will be an incredible challenge for Morace and Lazio Women.
