Coach Mihajlovic Feels “Very Confident” Ahead of Bologna vs Lazio

Bologna coach Sinisa Mihajlovic feels prepared ahead of tomorrow’s Serie A clash against Lazio.

Speaking to gathered reporters in a press conference (via Lazio) earlier today, the 52-year-old Serbian coach first discussed what formation he will pick against the Biancocelesti tomorrow.

There is no formation that makes you win or lose the matches. The important thing is the attitude. Then some changes are likely because it’s different playing with the big teams.

But it’s not the formation that makes you win or lose games.

The Bologna coach discussed the physical condition of his squad going into the match against Lazio.

Everyone has a chance to start from the beginning. Dijks has a fever but always tests negative, while we have some problems with Sansone and Skov Olsen.

Of those called up, however, everyone will have a chance to play.

Lazio Have Re-Opened Contract Talks With Goalkeeper Strakosha, Positive Signs

He commented on the strengths of the Biancocelesti and their Europa League win over Lokomotiv Moscow on Thursday.

Lazio are a very good team. Even the last game in the Europa League did them more good than harm. They’re a strong, complete, physical team with great individual quality.

They know how to attack well and defend just as well. It’s going to be tough but I’m very confident given the way we trained during the week.

Finally, Mihajlovic gave his thoughts on Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri and the squad’s strengths and weaknesses.

I know Sarri well, in the past I went to see his training sessions. He’s a good coach who always makes his teams play well and he hasn’t always had strong players.

We know what Lazio’s strengths are but also their weaknesses. It will be a chess match, quality and intensity, attitude and concentration will be the deciding factors.

Immobile Will Miss Lazio vs Bologna Due to Injury, Should Be Fit to Face Inter

Bologna currently sit 11th in Serie A after the opening six games, sitting on eight points. The Rossoblu have had a slightly disappointing start to the season, winning twice, drawing twice and losing twice.

Mihajlovic’s position as head coach is reportedly at risk heading into tomorrow’s match and so a good result will be key for the Serbian coach.
