De Silvestri Celebrates After Bologna’s 3-0 Win vs Lazio, “Definitely Very Happy”

Bologna full-back Lorenzo De Silvestri was overjoyed with the team’s performance in the 3-0 win against Lazio earlier today.

Speaking in an interview with Italian broadcaster Sky Sports Italia (via LazioNews24) after the game, the 33-year-old Italian right back touched on the team’s preparations for today’s match.

During the training camp we preached calmness and maturity. We know what our goal is.

We tightened up and today we are definitely very happy.

He commented on Bologna’s attitude heading into the match against Lazio.

We have tried several systems of play. Today we were as compact as we were in Bergamo. Many people brought out that extra something.

We have 11 points and we are proud of ourselves. We are aware of our destiny and we are a great squad. I’m very confident.

Finally, De Silvestri discussed the Rossoblu’s goals for this season.

We know what the team wants, because there is a clear and serene comparison.

Lazio’s Confidence Shaken in Lethargic 3-0 Loss to Bologna

Lazio disappointed in the 3-0 loss to Bologna earlier today, looking tired and downtrodden in the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara.

One topic of discussion is the decision to schedule today’s game at 12:30 pm local time, an early slot considering the Europa League match against Lokomotiv Moscow played on Thursday evening.
