Juventus are still interested in hiring Lazio sporting director Igli Tare, although there are two main obstacles.
As reported by Italian media outlet Calciomercato.com yesterday, Bianconeri chairman Andrea Agnelli is a big fan of the Albanian sporting director, appreciating his work in charge of the Biancocelesti’s transfer market activity.
First of all, Juventus have recently promoted Federico Cherubini to sporting director; the Italian was the right-hand man of former sporting director Fabio Paratici and is now tasked with replacing him.
The second issue is that dealing with Lazio president Claudio Lotito is never easy. The Biancocelesti number one, in fact, is unlikely to let one of his closest collaborators go before he has to, especially not to one of the club’s domestic rivals.
