Juventus Interested in Hiring Lazio Sporting Director Tare, Two Main Obstacles

Juventus are still interested in hiring Lazio sporting director Igli Tare, although there are two main obstacles.

Tare’s contract with Lazio expires in 2023 and so Agnelli may feel confident about making a move for the sporting director, but there are two main issues that currently make a deal unlikely.

First of all, Juventus have recently promoted Federico Cherubini to sporting director; the Italian was the right-hand man of former sporting director Fabio Paratici and is now tasked with replacing him.

The second issue is that dealing with Lazio president Claudio Lotito is never easy. The Biancocelesti number one, in fact, is unlikely to let one of his closest collaborators go before he has to, especially not to one of the club’s domestic rivals.
