Lazio have expressed interest in Chelsea’s Kepa Arrizabalaga as they begin the search for a new goalkeeper.
As reported by Italian radio broadcaster Radiosei (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the contracts of goalkeepers Pepe Reina and Thomas Strakosha both expire next year in 2022, so the Roman club need to lineup a replacement goalkeeper should neither deal be renewed.

Whilst it is possible that both Reina and Strakosha could renew with Lazio, the club do not want to be caught unprepared and so have started their search for a starting replacement early.
So far, The Biancocelesti have expressed interest in Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, who has lost his starting spot in the Blues squad to Edouard Mendy.
The 27-year-old Spanish goalkeeper would love to be reunited with coach Maurizio Sarri; however, his €4 million net per season salary makes a deal difficult to imagine for now.

Whilst Kepa is contracted to Chelsea until 2025, the London club may be willing to reach a deal with Lazio in order to lower their wage bill.
