Lazio may re-ignite their interest in River Plate full-back Fabrizio Angileri in the upcoming transfer windows.

As reported by Argentinian newspaper El Crack Deportivo (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today, the Biancocelesti made an offer for the 27-year-old Argentinian left-back in the summer transfer window, but a move never materialised as coach Marcelo Gallardo wanted to keep him.

A move to Europe appeals to the Argentinian left-back as it would increase his visibility and profile on the worldwide stage, which could in turn help him earn a place in Lionel Scaloni’s Argentina squad.

Angileri has made 11 Primera División appearances so far this season, for a total of 836 minutes. In that time he has provided three assists, impressing both offensively and defensively.
